THE QUARANTINE PORTRAITS

During the spring of 2020, I tasked myself with creating a series of self-portraits in my studio apartment using only the equipment I had available. The lighting setups are done with IKEA lamps. My gels were water balloons. My tripod was a cutout takeaway box sitting on a chair atop a pile of books. All setups, lighting, and editing were done by myself. The photos were taken with my iPhone and a self-timer.
